Roles are used to determine the rights the user receives during the course. Through roles, the it’s possible to grant the following rights to a user, i.e. they may, according to these settings:
- admin the course
- create content to the course
- copy, delete or archive the course
- see all the statistics of the course
- participate the course as a learner
The role can vary from course to course: the user can work simultaneously in different courses as an administrator, trainer and student. Here it is good to note that in one course a user can only be in one role at a time. However, if necessary, the role can be changed in the Members view of the course.
Priima has three predetermined, locked roles, which include the most typical default settings: course administrator, instructor and student.

In the visitor role, the user can view the course content, but cannot complete the course.
In addition, it is possible to create roles that can be modified as necessary.
