Follow-up assignments

One of the following approaches can be chosen in the follow-up block:

• to verify a member’s participation in classroom training
• to perform a specific assignment, e.g. in the workplace or otherwise outside the e-learning platform
• to verify the completion of a larger set of content or assignments;

Always read the instructions carefully, as only one of three types of action can be selected for a follow-up block:

• The user marks their result and the reviewer accepts it, i.e. the learner can sign off and comment on their result. The reviewer accepts the signature separately and can comment.
• The user will marks their result and it is accepted without verification, i.e. the block will be automatically set as completed.
• The reviewer marks and approves/reviews the result. The learner sees the follow-up block, but cannot make any entries, i.e. they expect the reviewer to acknowledge that the block has been completed.

If the follow-up block is first reviewed by the instructor/reviewer, the status of the block is shown as Waiting for review.
