{"id":7576,"date":"2024-04-25T13:55:23","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T10:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.priimalms.com\/ohje\/activating-an-expired-user-account\/"},"modified":"2024-05-21T14:06:47","modified_gmt":"2024-05-21T11:06:47","slug":"activating-an-expired-user-account","status":"publish","type":"manual_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.priimalms.com\/en\/ohje\/activating-an-expired-user-account\/","title":{"rendered":"Activating an expired user account"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>You can reactivate an expired or closed user account through the User Information view by using the Modify Information function.<\/p>\n\n<p>Example 1: The account has expired when a specific expiration date was previously set for it<\/p>\n\n<p>When a specific expiration date has previously been set for an account, for example during the creation of a user account or through a registration form, there may be a need to reactivate the account in certain situations. In this case, the user&#8217;s information is taken for editing using the Edit Information button, and either the expiration date is removed entirely or a new expiration date is set to a specific date.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Example 2: Account has expired through automatic expiration\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>When the environment has automatic expiration of accounts after a certain period of inactivity, there might be occasions when there&#8217;s a need to reactivate a closed account.
