The course may include a multiple-choice test or tests. Tests may also include open questions. Tests may be used, for example, as a form, as a variety of surveys, or as a test\/exam.<\/p>\n\n

The test may include:<\/p>\n\n

  • pre-selected or random questions<\/li>
  • an unlimited or limited number of attempts<\/li>
  • no time limit or a time limit the test must be completed by<\/li>
  • a point limit for obtaining an approved score, or an approved result may only require answering all questions<\/li>
  • point thresholds to pass and for getting a particular grade<\/li>
  • 0 or negative points for incorrect answers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

    Read the test instructions and questions carefully, as they usually indicate how the test will be reviewed and when the result is approved.<\/p>\n\n

    Questions<\/h3>\n\n

    Tests can include multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions. Open-ended questions can be automatically assessed or assessed by an examiner. If an open question requires evaluation, you will see the result of the test after the examiner has evaluated the open questions in the test. A sample answer to open-ended questions may also be available, if one has been introduced at the time of design of the test.<\/p>\n\n

    Starting the test<\/h3>\n\n

    The test can be started directly from the content page, or the test may require you to open the instructions first, and only then can you start the actual test. For example, time-limited tests can often have assignments and instructions first, and only then can you click on the test itself.<\/p>\n\n

    Example 1:<\/strong> The test instructions and summary are first opened from the course page with the Open button. The test can then be started from the Start Test button.<\/p>\n\n

    Going forward in the test<\/h3>\n\n

    Depending on the test settings, there are two options for progressing and moving in the test:<\/p>\n\n

    • Each test question must be answered in order, meaning you cannot return to previous questions later OR<\/li>
    • you can move between questions freely during the test and choose the order in which you answer the questions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

      Read the test instructions carefully before starting the test.<\/p>\n\n

      Below is an example of the test view, where you can move between questions freely. Such a test is concluded with the End complete test button.<\/p>\n\n

      Feedback page after the test<\/h2>\n\n

      You can always see your results immediately after the test if the test contains multiple-choice questions. If the test has open questions to be evaluated, you will see their results after the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n

      After the test, it is also possible to see the feedback page if the author of the test has set it to be visible in the test settings. The feedback page can have all the questions and answers, right and wrong answers, or just the parts that went wrong. It is also possible that the feedback page is not displayed at all.
