If the completion of a course requires the completion of certain assignments, then the course must introduce mandatory assignments as a prerequisite for the completion of the course and, in addition, choose which assignments are mandatory.
In the course settings, under Passing criteria, you can choose the completion of required assignments or completion of required assignments and visiting all the content pages, if you wish to combine these rules.
Mandatory assignments can be set in either each content blocks settings in the course editor or in the course settings Completion of Course / Mandatory assignments.
