Choosing start page
As the course start page, it is possible to select either
- a summary of the course content; or
- the first content page.
You can either hide or show the course’s Left navigation by selecting Yes or No. If you wish to use the course as a micro learning course, select No and hide the navigation.
Theme
In the course theme, you select the main color and text color for the course, either from the theme colors set by the administrator or from freely selected custom colors. Colors are used to differentiate the visual elements of the course (e.g. header bars, various function buttons).
In addition, the default background image or a white background color can be set as the background of the course. A white background color is a good choice when the course uses images or graphics on a white background.
Course picture
You can select a picture for the course, which will appear in the Course Catalog and in the Courses list on the Desktop in connection with the course name. A text equivalent can be defined for the picture. Recommended size is 308 x 225.
Course banner theme
Either the desired background color and/or image of the top bar can be selected for the course banner. The same background color/image is visible in all pages of the course.
The recommended image size of the banner area, ie the course banner, is 1905 x 179 in pixels and 338 x 204 in mobile.
Numbering
In addition, you can choose whether to use automatic numbering in front of chapter and content page titles.
If the organization uses forced color themes, they are shown in the course settings. If the themes are not forced, the course’s color theme can be chosen by the course administrator.
