In Priima, you can set a course as a course template. This requires that the course is not yet open to students. When a course is set to be a template, it can be chosen as the basis for a new course, but students cannot be directly associated with it. The template is only visible to members with administrative or content creation acce
When one or more course templates have been set in the environment, one of the predetermined course templates can be selected in the Create New Course function in addition to an empty course.

When creating a new course from the course template, the course structure (course settings, completion rules, chapters, content pages and the content page structure) is taken from the selected course template. This is different from the course copy function in that the course template is a free-to-copy course.
Priima also has a Micro course ready, which appears as a course template. You can read more about the micro course from here.
Tip: If you want to create a template of an open-to-students, ongoing course, make a copy of the course first and then set the new course to be a template in its settings.
